Not too long ago, we go a new door for the back of the house. This one has a window in it. When I'm taking a break from fandom, I like to stand and look out into the garden. The wondrous creatures I see! Well, okay, they're pretty average for this area, but they're still cool. So, here are pictures!

Dragonfly!

Silly squirrel!

Chipmonk! There are two in our yard. We call them Chippy and Dale. We're not sure which one's which, though.

Lizard. With Kung Fu action!

'Nother lizard. It's on the end of the protruding board.

Birdfeeders and crepe myrtles.

Birds.

A moth on the Butterfly Bush. I found that amusing. *g* The moth is in the very center of the picture.

ScaryAssGrasshopper. Well, that's what I call them. They give me the heebie jeebies!

Perched random bird and hummingbird! So cute.

Hummingbird in flight!

Hummingbird in flight again! I love this one...

Awesome pictures :D

Is the dragonfly perched on a metal spiderweb?

I love the kung-fu lizard!! Hee!

Moth on a butterfly bush....*snicker*

Grasshoppers can be very scary. Personally, I hate crickets. Particularly camel crickets. They might be evil.

That last hummingbird pic is indeed great :D I've tried snapping pictures of birds in flight, but I don't have much luck.

Your garden is very beautiful! Lots of things to see! We definitely don't have any lizards this far up north! Well, none that come out and play. That last picture's fantastic! Thanks for letting us peek into your world!

Now I miss the squirrel and the tree right outside me window.

*pats your squirrel*

I like your garden. Except for the pink petals on some of the plants. ;)

Well, I had to comment on them. They are pink. And evil. They probably spit on your muffins when you don't look. Or something else mean.

They are. Pink is the color of the devil.

Yes, but those are very few and far between. Like vampires with a soul. And even then you always have to fear that they lose their soul every minute and you can never fully trust them.

I think I could give fandom a break for that... it's beautiful.

That was wonderful. I missed green trees and clear blue skies and..well, wildlife. Here it's mostly buildings, roads, sand and more sand.

The hummingbird in flight is so cool. Nice camera you got.
