Woo-hoo!!!! Finals are over... which means, I'm home for the summer!!

Well, the total weight loss count from being on the I Went Away to College plan is in: I've lost over 20 pounds in two semesters... completely not on purpose. ::chagrined:: And officially, none of my freakin' pants fit!! >:(

Andromeda -- Woo-hoo! I finally got home to all my recordings, and I had a Harper marathon!! Man, I forgot how good "Ouroborous" is. I forgot about half the tings that happened in that ep, but boy was it fun to see it again! And I just love Harper's impression of abstract art. ::squee!!!:: It was SO funny. Okay, it might have been because I watched it at 2:30 in the moring, but I still love it. :D

Gateroom.

It's late.

I'm standing on the ramp, gazing.

Amazing technology, the Stargate.

Thinking about how it works gives me a headache, but it's still intriguing.

Off-world with Jaffa on our tails, it's always our ticket home.

It came through again, got us out of yet another bad situation. Everyone -- even me, for a change -- came back without a scratch.

It's taken for granted, never once thanked for the job it does.

I gently place my hand on the piece of alien engineering, willing my appreciation to it.

I hope it knows how much it really means.

It's earth's hope.

Yeah, the drabble made more sense than last weeks one. ;)

And Parker Lewis will join the SG-1? Can't wait for that to happen. Or maybe I can, because it seems like he's replacing Danny.

Nope, wasn't me. I swear. I'm saving all my May money for my visit at darlakanes. Sorry. I wanted to get you one in June. Now I have nothing to bribe you with. Stupid anonymous person. Now, whoever did it, I like her or him. People should be nice to you and do nice things to you.

Yeah, that's a nice trick I learned well. You can get people to make stuff for you, that you don't like to make yourself like, a say a mood theme. ;)

The only pictures I have finished catching are the J.D. ones. And even those mostly aren't the ones I liked to get. I need to find a good Joan of Arcadia cap page to get the Luke ones. Than I'll pick some Wes pics and you can take whichever Danny pic you think might fit. But I'm not sure, whether or not I will find them before I leave for Cologne, so don't wait for them. But you are busy with your Muffin theme anyway, aren't you.

I don't have money issues. Well, I don't have a lot of it, but I don't have to starve just for getting someone a paid account. As long as I can pay that monthly bank loan thing (what is "Hypothek" called in English?) for my part of the house, it's fine.

Other than that I could send a package with stuff from Germany. Tobi got a BMW, chocolate and wine gums. Okay, the BMW was only a plastic model, but I didn't have the money to get a real one. And all in all that package was more expensive than a year long paid account. So getting you a few extra month of muffins would be much easier and a bit cheaper for me.

I want Luke pics because of the glasses. And the highlighted hair. And all the cuteness that is Luke. I'm not thinking Michael Welch is that hot. It is all in the Luke. Though it is cool, that Michael is such a great actor at such a young age, that he can play the different characters so differently (yeah, I need a better vocabulary), that you don't need the actors hotness or not hotnes to make the character hot or not. Like say, every character Orlando Bloom plays seems to have the same two expressions but because OB is so hot, they are always hot. And am I chatty today or what?

But I'll get them if I have to keep baking muffins, so help me!!
Help you finding pics? I already gave you that google link. I could go through some German baking related pages, if you want more. Or do you want me to bake muffins for you. I could do that too. I just don't have a digital camera.

No, no, no. "So help me" is a common phrase for Americans. In this context, it means "grrrrr, if I don't get this fixed/solved, I won't be responsible for my actions"... Does that make sense? (Sorry, it never occurred to me that you wouldn't understand it.) Hmmm.... I should look into where the phrase originated...

So it's like "Himmel hilf" (Heaven help) in German. Like you asking God to help you stay sane and not start to murder any random people because you are getting more and more mad or annoyed with something. Okay, I try to remember that.
