Check out the goodies I have to remind me of the trip...

Item: Sterling silver shamrock necklace.
Why?: Obligatory shamrock keepsake. Hey, it's cute. *g*

Item: Sterling silver Celtic knot earrings.
Why?: I like knots and small earrings. These are lovely.

Item: Sterling silver Claddagh ring.
Why?: You can't go into a store without seeing a Claddagh of some sort. We were told the story of how it came to be, but I can't remember it exactly. But I believe the crown stands for loyalty, the heart for love, and the hands for friendship. Also, I get a bonus Buffy squee every time I wear it. *g*

Item: Green T-Shirt with Celtic cross.
Why?: It's pretty. Green and gold paint and green glass beads decorate the cross.

Item: "40 Shades of Green" cloth-thingy
Why?: It is said that there are 40 shades of green in Ireland's landscape. (I think there are more, actually.) I plan to use this as a wall hanging, like a poster.

Item: Scarf made in Avoca.
Why?: I was cold. *g*

Alas, this is the last official post about Ireland I foresee. If anyone has specific questions, I'll answer as best I can.

Scotland is next on my list of places to visit. Who knows when it may happen. Ireland, though, is so far my favorite place I've visited out of Italy, Austria, and Germany... :)

Looks like you had a great time. Ireland certainly is a beautiful country. I hope I get to see it too some day.

OMG. I love that "'40 Shades of Green'cloth-thingy"!!!
Oooooh, and nice scarf.

Looks like that concludes our trip-by-pic. Thanks for sharing those. I'm glad you had a good time. Do you plan on going again sometime?

I love all the green. I want to go to Ireland, too. Not just because of the green, but green is nice. And I should really eat something. I feel drunk.
