THE GHERKIN!! Yep, I think it did get blown up in a Dr Who ep, LOL! I think it pretty much divides London - some love it as innovative and quirky, others loathe it as an eyesore. I have to admit, I like its quirkiness :)

Glad you got to the forbidden planet. It's a fun fun store, I met Christopher Lee there once *sigh* Happy times. And very glad you made it to the British Museum - it was one of my favourite haunts when I lived in London; I adored the glass roof.

I think I remember there were similar feelings when The Eye was being constructed. As long as they're done well, I think such things are neat.
