skrobertsI finished another sculpture! This is the first time I've really played with glazes, and I think it came out quite nicely. Look at its spiffiness...
I love the coil-y-ness of snakes.
This one is very shiny. I like to pet it. :D
I used several layers of black glaze as a base and then used a layer or two of an opalescent glaze over it.
I'm not sure how well it shows up in these pictures, but if you look closely, there is a slight golden texture over the black, particularly noticeable on the head. I like how it came out.
It's one of my bigger pieces. Look, it's just right for petting. Hee.
Now I have to find a place to put him! Maybe Leo needs a playmate. :)
