On a day I was feeling rather depressed, someone went and did something like this...

Title: Downfall
Song / Artist: Downfall by Trust Company
Vidder: SKRoberts
Fandom: Stargate Atlantis
Size: 9MB
Why you should download this vid: You should download this vid because it's exciting to watch. First it's an action vid that actually has action. She does an excellent job of matching the music with what's happening in the video. This a a character video for John Sheppard, I'm a Sheppard fan, I think he's hot, and it doesn't hurt to see a vid that's all about him, but what makes this vid better than the other Sheppard vids on the net, is that she uses a lot of shots of him that aren't used in EVERY SINGLE SGA VID I've seen. And the shots that are common she edited them in a way that made it look new and exciting to watch. The effects used in the vid help guide you through the vid, not bludgeon you over the head, something I greatly appreciate.
So you have this really good song, matched with a very hot character, and she has the timing down to a new artform. Most people can't do live action, action vids, she can.
This is really the first American TV show action vid I loved. Anime vids have cornerned the market on some of the coolest action vids and I was beginning to think it wasn't possible to make a cool action vid using american TV shows. SKRoberts pulled it off.
*has uncontrollable urge to cry*
I just don't know what to say other than this makes me so very, very happy...
*snuggles
amothea with all her heart*
