Sadness

I've been all weepy today. :(

My cat Clarence died. He passed away sometime in his sleep last night. He was 16 years old, so it's no big surprise. But I'm still sad.

Two of my three pets have died this year. My dog Cloud last semester and now The Old Man, as we called Clarence. The remaining pet, my dog Bonnie, is 12, so she won't be around too much longer herself. It's not a good year for pets. :(

My sister Katie's birthday was last weekend so I've already had her on my mind. Now I realized Clarence died 16 years to the day after Katie's death. Ironically, she would have turned 16 this year.

With feeling sad over Clarence, Cloud, Katie, and possibly Bonnie, it's not been an easy day. It's hard to keep from crying. So, if anyone needs me, I'll be that sniffling thing in the corner...
