Finally... here are some pictures from my trip to Ireland. Between my mother and me, we took some 300 pics. These are my personal favorites, in two parts and in thumbnails for easier viewing...

The obligatory picture of me in an airport.

My mom being a spaz. *loves her anyway*

Old stone walls... these were everywhere, lending to a lovely landscape.

Road signs in both English and Irish Gaelic.

A lovely stream.

I think this in a peat bog. "Logs" made from dried out peat are used as a source of fuel in many places in Ireland.

Me, road signs, and my grandparents just behind me.

I was asleep when this was taken, so I don't know where it is, but it's lovely.

The church just near where W.B. Yeats is buried.

Me being a dork while exploring some ruins.

A lovely cemetery. I particularly like this one.

A Celtic cross headstone.

Me indicating the colorful doors in Dublin.

In Dublin, there's a place called The Green. It amused be since we have our own The Green on campus. And look, this Green also has a weeping willow in the pond! But no Puddle Jumpers there either, Alex. *sigh*

Close-up of a stone wall.

Mom takes a walk trough the woods just outside of the monastery ruins in Glendalough.

Prettiness in Glendalough.

Me being a weirdo.
