For anyone who saw my TMNT vid 'Water,' this is the entire poem I used in it...
Title: Water
Author: Sarah Roberts
Note: This was written as part of making my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles music vid by the same name.
We are droplets of water.
We create life from dust.
We quench thirst.
We heal.
We are strong together.
We are weak when alone.
As drops of water...
Sometimes, we fall.
We crowd the world.
We become the flood.
The flood is strong.
The flood is wicked.
The flood cares not for what is in its path.
The flood washes away what we thought ourselves to be.
All that we know can help us no longer.
We find ourselves lost.
We find the world crowding back, closing in.
But resistance is not fruitless.
We must not be the flood.
We must exist as mere droplets of water.
For the flood leaves only devastation.
