Pepper Cat

Mom woke me up early this morning and handed me this... O.O


The kitten seems to be older than originally thought, which means it doesn't really need momma. My aunt, who has lots of experience with kittens, is going to take of it until we can find a home!


Tiny kitten is tiny...


Update: So... I may have named the kitten (Pepper)... Ruh, roh!

Haha! My mom found the little one in the yard, abandoned. It's still too young to tell if it's a boy or girl for sure, so I've been calling it Pepper.

I don't think we can keep it, though. Rosie hasn't grown up around cats, so she doesn't know how to act around it. It's so small and strange, I'm afraid she'll think it's a snack. My aunt is taking care of it now; she lives right next door to me, so I can visit anytime I want. :)

How does Pepper relate to Cumberbatch, though? You disappoint.

My aunt had an old dog who got introduced to a kitten and they got along, though I think it would have been different if the dog had been young and energetic at the time.

Yes, certain dogs and cats get along well. Rosie, however, is part terrier, so she likely thinks this little critter is a rodent she is supposed to attack and kill. Pepper is just safer somewhere else.

Yeah, better safe than sorry. That kitten is too cute to be used as a chewing toy.

To be fair, "Cumberkitten" did cross my mind, but I try not to name pets, etc. after my fangirl crushes. It just gets confusing... People/things directly related to those crushes, however, aren't a problem. :D
