Firefly Fun (Last Part)!
November 1st, 2004 08:40 pmRegarding Nathan Fillion... What it is about some men wearing long, dark, flowing jackets that makes them so GUH?!
Last bit of Firefly DVDs fun. Disk Four: "The Message," "Heart of Gold," and "Objects in Space"...
Best Quotes, Lines, and Such EVER
WASH (of JAYNE's hat from mother): A man walks down the street in that hat, people know he's not afraid of anything.
ZOE: First rule of battle, little one. Never let 'em know where you are.
(MAL runs in, screaming and firing behind him, and dives over a wall for cover, lands nearby, bullets zinging over his head.)
ZOE: Of course, there's other schools of thought...
MAL: Everybody dies, Tracey. Someone's carrying a bullet for you right now, doesn't even know it. The trick is to die of old age before it finds you.
TRACEY: 'When you can't run anymore, you crawl... and when you can't do that--'
ZOE: 'You find someone... to carry you.'
INARA: Hi.
MAL: BWAAA!
INARA: Sorry. I didn't mean to startle.
MAL: You didn't. (repeating as if he meant to, points gun) BWAAA! That's kind of a warrior... It's a... strikes fear into... Bwaa?
KAYLEE: Look, they got boy whores! Isn't that thoughtful?
KAYLEE: Wash, tell me I'm pretty...
WASH: Were I unwed, I would take you in a manly fashion.
KAYLEE: 'Cause I'm pretty?
WASH: 'Cause you're pretty.
MAL: Well, lady I must say -- You're my kinda stupid.
WASH (of JAYNE): How did your brain master human speech? I'm just so curious.
EARLY: Well... here I am...
I always feel a bit of emptiness when I finish these DVDs. ::sniffle:: The movie needs to get here quickly...

Date: November 1st, 2004 07:31 pm (UTC)Seriously. Are you trying to give me a heart attack? *fans self*
Also I'm impressed at your ability to mention Objects in Space and not mention shirtless Simon. *dies*
I'm shallow, not stupid, really!

Also I'm impressed at your ability to mention Objects in Space and not mention shirtless Simon.
Tehe. I did notice his mini-six pack and that he isn't fuzzy-chested. But I like my characters fully clothed. Makes them have sexy curves. *g*

Date: November 1st, 2004 08:33 pm (UTC)I like clothing too. 'Specially suits, like the kind Simon generally wears. I have a theory, I just haven't tested it out yet, that any man who puts on a suit immediately looks at least ten times better than he does when not wearing a suit. But uhm, yeah, I also like shirtless Simon. So uhm.. I'm with you, but I'm not? I don't know. But I do understand where you're coming from. That was the point.

Date: November 1st, 2004 08:34 pm (UTC)...okay I don't know if you're a Buffy-fan, so if you're not, that was a Buffy reference. If you are a Buffy fan, my apologies. ;)

Date: November 2nd, 2004 02:29 pm (UTC)On your suit theory, I think the casual button-down/slacks/belt theory does the same in my eyes. *g

Date: November 3rd, 2004 06:58 pm (UTC)That does work too, for most guys, but a suit works for every guy. In my opinion, of course.
