Prompt: "haunt"
"We did the right thing."
I said it, almost trying to convince myself more than Jonas and Carter.
I may not understand the whole concept of a robot having humanity.
But I'm not heartless.
I'm not happy with what had to be done, but I did it anyway.
It's my job.
God forbid you ever have to walk a mile in my shoes, Carter.
Then you really might know what it's like to make the hard choices.
And lose a part of yourself each time.
Ultimately, we did the right thing.
Even if the image of Fifth frozen in time will haunt me for a while...
