That animal ate the pumpkin pie Millie made!
That's it.
No more home alone.
But what am I going to do?

"Thank you, Walter."

My eyes shifted, hoping he didn't hear that.
"Uh, sir, is there an animal under your desk?"
Drat!
"Why, I believe there is."
"May I ask why, sir?"
"Well, uh... You know, the SGC always needed a mascot, so I'm trying one out."
"Really, sir?"
"General's prerogative to try new things, Sergeant..."
"Okay, sir...?"
I reached down, scooped the pup up, and tucked him under my arm.
"Excuse me, I have a briefing to attend."

All the other drabbles on my List are all angsty, so I had to have a feel good theme. There will be at least one more part... but geez, I'm having ideas to expand it to a whole fic!
