Title: Canidae
Prompt: "pusillanimous"
I walk out of the store.
Sounds from the alley catch my attention.
A sight I loathed.
Two boys harassing a small dog.
It wasn't much older than a puppy.
Such a pusillanimous act.
The little bastards.
My groceries forgotten, I run them off.
They're just lucky they have young legs.
I cautiously approach the pup.
Hiding behind some boxes, it whimpers.
It doesn't look hurt, but it's obviously frightened.
A knot rose in my throat.
It might not let me help it.
But I'll stay here all day if I have to.
I won't leave the little guy behind.

I totallly missed TMNT last week. For some reason I thought it came on at 10:30 and I came on at 10. D'oh! At least I know for this week.

I totallly missed TMNT last week.
I'm still not sure when it comes on because TPTB are evil to me. IF things finally go right with the VCR next week, I'm still setting it for, like, 3 hours just in case. ;)
