Weird dream alert!

queenshroom has already heard about this, but it was just so freakin' funny, I thought I would share... No spoilers, just weirdness.

Since I don't know any other way to say it, here is part of the YIM conversation Shroomy and I had --

SKRoberts: OH!!!! I dreamt about Sheppard last night!!
Shroomy : really? awesome
Shroomy : what was it about, if I may ask?
SKRoberts: It was totally surreal. First, we (as in the SG team and me -- I'm always there, for some reason!) were in a large building, reminded me of a university... We were searching for something, but I don't remember what...
SKRoberts: And then it all turned into kind of a creepy fun house.
SKRoberts: And then we were outside, but Teyla was missing.
SKRoberts: There were a lot a people there, all eating a strange shaped red fruit.
SKRoberts: Then someone yelled out, "Stop eating that fruit! Teyla is the fruit!!"
Shroomy : haha
SKRoberts: I just want to know what the hell I ate last night to make all that happen.
Shroomy : Me too!
Shroomy : But, Sheppard was in it, so that's good.
...
SKRoberts: (snickers) I just remembered that the TMNT were there, too. As cartoons.
Shroomy : [ROTFL]

It was a lot weirder than that, but there is no possible way I can explain it all. If anyone has any idea what this means, please tell me!

Man, I wish there was a VCR for dreams...

One of my most memorable dreams is a TMNT dream. Let me sum it up:

I'm not sure if I was there or just watching (I had this dream nearly 10 years ago), but Splinter explained that Shredder had some sort of powerful sleep-weapon or something. Each of the turtles had been affected by it. Leo was up, practicing katas in his sleep. Raph had his hand up, like he was changing channels on a remote control. And Mike was sleep walking, arms sticking out in front of him, saying--and I'm so not kidding about this--"Gotta have my Pops."

Heh heh heh...

I don't remember what Don was doing, or even if he was in the dream. He's my least favorite, anyway.

So, you're not the only one with strange dreams. I have a really kick ass Buffy dream written down and I recently had a VERY cool SG-1 dream that I will turn into a fanfic as soon as I have the time. I'm actually very excited about it.

Don't you love when dream do that?! I wrote one of my dreams into the beginning on my MacGyver fic. :) Good luck with your fic when you get to it!

I have never gotten a story idea from a dream before. I've had some very cool and involved dreams, but none that ever sparked the complete and utter need to write. This is very exciting.

Of course when I finally get a chance to work on it I'm going to be bored to tears. That's the way it goes, you know. :P
