End of Week Post

Squeeeeee, [livejournal.com profile] roadrunner1896 is such a wonderful Muffin Disciple LJ buddy. She sent me a package with oodles of goodies! Granted, they aren't the best things for my waistline, but who cares?! ::mega huggles for Roadie::

Stargate Atlantis: OKAY! I admit it. I think I'm falling for Sheppard. The man said "okie dokie," for crying out loud. How can I possibly resist now?

Okay... Due to the urging of a person on one of my Jack lists, I've continued my Janet PoV "Abyss" drabble. It is now a 3-part series! This is Part 2... (115 words)

Title: Muted

The Colonel hasn't said much since his return, besides the debriefing.

And it wasn't an easy thing to listen to.

Staff weapons...

Knives...

Acid...

Dying again and again...

Good, God!

I know he's a Goa'uld, but what kind of monster is Ba'al?

He'd better just pray that he never ends up in my care, like Apophis did.

I'm not sure I could keep my oath as a doctor.

I'm mad as hell... and afraid.

I'm afraid the Colonel is shutting us out, not letting us help him.

I know he has his own way of dealing with things, but I wish he would talk to someone.

A silent Jack O'Neill can't be a good thing.

Part 3 of "Abyss" drabble series and the use of this week's word. Enjoy! (113 words)

Title: Mended
Prompt: "snippiness"

It's been weeks now since his return.

I knew I couldn't keep him in the Infirmary forever.

The withdrawal symptoms weren't easy, but he recovered fully.

At least, as fully as I can give him here.

I'm finally sending him home.

It's for the best... for all of us.

His ever increasing cantankerous mood around my nurses would have surely made one of them snap.

The consequences wouldn't have been pleasant for him, I imagine.

But I'm actually relieved.

Not only is he talking again, he's showing signs of the old cynical Air Force Colonel we know and love.

And for that, I will put up with all the snippiness he can offer.

That way, you can ogle Sheppard a bit. :D

I already do that. *gg* He is every nice to look at. Can't wait to finish the rest of the Stargate episodes and get to the goodness that is him on Atlantis.

Tehe! As soon as someone puts up caps, I'll try to find a nice one for you...

*drools in advance*

I can't watch a show I want to really get into, without the pilot and I can't watch the pilot, if there are Stargate spoilers in it. I might not be OCD anywhere else, but I am with my tv shows and movies. I won't even start to tell you, how many times I have watched 'Kopfgeldjäger' by now, because I just can't figure out, whose voices Sam and Jack have. But I bet it will be close to the number of bubble wrap bubbles, that Monk had to pop last time. ;)

I'm almost sure Jack is Tom Paris. Well, the German voice is the same. But Sam is killing me. Gaaaaa. I want to know that now. The worst part is, I can't even get to German Stargate fansites and check, if they mention the dubbing actors, because I'm to afraid of spoilers and they are in the 6th Season here, if I got that correct. I will watch an original Stargate episode now, though, to get those voices out of my head. Well, not my regular voices, but Sam's and Jack's and of course gay Danny's.

Maybe you should just watch it in English and try to forget about the voices!

I'll never get another episode in German, but I just have to know where I know the voices from. It is killing me. I need to know.

LOL! Poor Monk. I like to pop the bubbles, but I don't *have* to. ;)

Yeah, but at least he had help. *gg*

Hm, maybe Monk could figure out, where I know the voices from. I would just have to make him watch everything I have ever watched in my life. I'm sure he can do it.
