Stargate SG-1: "New Order" - SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! New Jack!! Oh, my, the part where Jack's mind was integrated into Thor's ship was classic. As was him waking up. Heck, every bit of Jack was great in this ep! But the ep as a whole would have been so much better without all the Mary-Sue Carter. I mean, come on... I felt it all but totally undermined what happened to Jack in the previous ep. Sure, it was necessary for Jack plot later on, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. The Daniel-Weir-System Lords arc would have been just fine with me. Besides that... squeeeee, Brigadier General Jack!! (I did miss Hammond, though.)
Okay, okay... Is it *my* fault that my cable company decided to change all my channel numbers, making me have to search for my favorites and stumbling over the newest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003) series and subsequently getting addicted after only two episodes? NO! ;) Anyway, Leo is and always will be my favorite...

Date: July 10th, 2004 05:09 pm (UTC)The abstract Alexis - very nice. I do like the silly face he's making. And turtle freaks - dude, my six year old tells me she's too old to watch the turtles. Mind you, this is the same child who had nightmares about Scooby Doo. Not the movie. The old cartoon.
Great work, as usual.

Date: July 10th, 2004 05:46 pm (UTC)Can you believe I came up with that idea by looking at my freshly-painted toenails in the shower? ::weirdo:: Anyway, I'm almost tempted to put text on it -- something along the lines of, "when obsession goes too far"... :D

::scoff:: You're NEVER too old to watch the Turtles! We can't let Spiderman have all the fun.
Great work, as usual.
Wonderful feedback, as usual. ;)

Date: July 10th, 2004 07:21 pm (UTC)Didn't vote for you Alexis wallpapers though. :(
The other one just looked more like what I think, when I hear "abstract". I like them both though. The hand one is even grey. *gg* Won't change the Alexis wallpaper, though. I'm in love with it at the moment.
And good for you for getting paid to have annoying little kids around you all day. Maybe you can get Alli into paying you too. ;)
Strong Bad has nice painting skills. It's almost like what I would paint, only better.
And why did I do the comments in the opposite order?
I need to go to bed.
Good night.

Date: July 11th, 2004 08:42 pm (UTC)Tehe. I hope my revived love for the turtles doesn't turn into an obsession...
The hand one is even grey.
Luckily, I'm not obsessive enough to actually do that to my fingernails. :)
I need to go to bed.
I hope you slept well!

Date: July 12th, 2004 04:24 am (UTC)The Turtles are cool. Haven't seen much of them, but they like pizza. So there is nothing wrong with them.
I hope you slept well!
I did and I wasn't even tired today, when I had to get up to get to work. The first time, since I started working again. Nice feeling. I might not even need a nap today.

Date: July 12th, 2004 11:01 am (UTC)I may now be hopelessly obsessed with Buffy and Stargate, but TMNT was my first obsession. Seriously, massive ridiculous amounts of knowledge. ;)

Date: July 12th, 2004 10:53 pm (UTC)Tehe! Come on, they were Leo eps. It was like fate or something!! I have the VCR set for everyday now. :)
TMNT was my first obsession.
I can't even remember how old I was when I got into it. But I had plush Turtles on my bed for years! (I can't find any of them now, though. ::sad::) I even watched the live-action movies to death. *g*
Seriously, massive ridiculous amounts of knowledge.
Well, I can't remember everything, so I might have to consult you sometime. ;)

Date: July 13th, 2004 07:04 am (UTC)I watched when the first show premiered--I think I was 6. I've been a fan since that day. :D I have a plush Raph that is next to my bed.

Y'know how I know Buffy? That's how I used to know TMNT. I haven't forgotten all of it, I assure you. And if I don't know the answer--I can find it.

Date: July 13th, 2004 08:53 pm (UTC)I have Leo (of course *g*) and Donnie (for whatever reason). Their tags say they were made in 1989! Which would have made me around 5 when I got them. So I started early, too, it appears. :)

Date: July 12th, 2004 11:00 pm (UTC)O...M...G...!! I looked in a big plastic bag in the back room on a hunch and FOUND MY PLUSH TURTLES!! I almost hurt myself jumping up and down in excitement. Man, I'm so easily amused, but I'm so happy. That just made my night. :D
