I've finally met some online friends in person!

Yesterday, I met up with scifigirl and dragonbetween. My first words to them? "Wow, you're [both] tall." Yep, I'm such a great conversation starter. Only not. After minor awkwardness, we hung out at Barnes & Noble for a while, snickering at book titles, mocking "avoid these people" lists, and ogling pretty mens in magazines. Also, I learned I am apparently co-mommy to two other children. :P

Sara and Jen, it was lovely to meet you. I hope my quietness didn't dismay you, but that's just how I am. I barely talk to friends I've known for years, so it wasn't anything against you personally. ;)

OMG, it's almost Gate Friday Time! *squee*

It was good to meet you as well. Your quietness was not dismay causing at all. Hope our semi-loudness didn't bother you. (Though I should remind you that we were very well behaved and quieter than we normally are.)

OMG!! How made of awesome was the 200th episode? Excpet I didn't care for the ending much at all.

From what you've said about your roommate it sounds like she might be up for it as well.

That's what Sara and I were saying. We think they should have followed our team at the end or at least swung back to them. I'd have even been happy with them showing the cake within the Wormhole X-Treme storyline.

Well you're going to want to make your plans as early as you can; for one thing the ticket prices go up throughout the year (though its just $50-85, so its really not that much) and you wanna get your room planes worked out.

Isn't it nice to meet your LJ friends in person?
I've been *this* close to doing so a couple of times now but it hasn't happened due to ....you guessed it....stupid frellling airlines messing up flight scheds.
