"Citizen Joe"
This was an emotionally-strenuous episode for me. I thought it was a very interesting plot. I would have liked more now-Jack and less past-Jack, but I can live with it. Definitely the best clip show of the series, in my opinion. But OMG. When Joe went rummaging through the trash looking for the stone and found it just in time to see Daniel die, I lost it. I balled my eyes out! I cried for the next ten minutes and still am a bit wibbly, even with all the funny that came after that. It was like I was back there with him, however many years ago watching "Meridian" for the first time. I so wanted to cling to him and tell him it'd all be okay. And no one was here to give me a hug. Shroomy tried to be supportive, but I was in a bad way. *cries again* But, yeay, they talked about The Simpsons! I died laughing. 'Twas great.
"Before I Sleep"
Also very interesting. I loved the Rodney-Sheppard Back to the Future banter. Heck, I like all their banter. And dang it, I cried for the second time tonight. EDIT: I just want to mention how frikkin' awesome this episode is, cinematically. I mean, Weir talking to herself, and the part with Col. Sumner. And oh, the implications this has for future episodes on both series. Yes, great ep in my opinion.
