Prompt: "old acquaintance"
I hadn't seen him in months.
But here he was now, standing on my doorstep.
He was the last thing I expected to find when I heard a rap at my door.
An old acquaintance.
The look of longing in his big, brown eyes.
The corners of his mouth set in an awkward smile.
His long tongue dripping drool on my doormat.
It was the pup.
A smile stretched across my face as I crouched down and stoked the top of his head.
"Hey there, Colonel," I cooed.
He nudged a ball toward me, wagging his tail wildly in anticipation.
I tossed it and smiled as he dashed after it.

And oh, yeah, scenes with those other people, too.
Hee... yeah, I only watch LOTR for Pippin... it gets kind of annoying when all those other guys hog the air time. So is the EE of ROTK any good?
And have an awesome New Year... good luck with that hangover. I've got a Smallville hangover myself; I spent most of the afternoon and evening watching reruns... and I may have gotten Mom hooked! Woo!

While watching, I declared Pippin the Cutest of the Four Hobbits. I mean, he's freakin' adorable. *pets him* I think ALL the EE versions rock. And there is even a nice Pippin/Faramir scene. :D
