Fandom Truths
February 23rd, 2014 03:29 pmI recently came to the realization that Sherlock is a lot like The Doctor.
Every now and then, the show pops into our lives and takes us on amazing adventures filled with drama, humor, joy, sadness, fear, friendship. But after an all-too-brief visit, it's over, and we're left behind to try to get on with our previous lives.
However, the damage is already done, and we are irreparably changed. There's no hope of going back to what we were before. All we can do now is look to the stars and hope beyond hope that the show will return before we know it to take us on another brilliant adventure.
TLDR: British television ruins lives, y'all. Be warned.
