skrobertsAngel -- I can’t stand it! “Smile Time” was HILARIOUS!! It was so funny, I think I actually fell out of my chair once or twice. :D I don’t know what kind of drugs Whedon and the gang were on when they thought this one up, but THANKS!
My favorite “Smile Time” moments:
-- First off, how freakin’ cool was that Puppet!Angel?! LOL, the facial expressions were just like David. Way to go, Joss and the gang!
-- Lorne: “Nina definitely wants a piece of Angel cake.”
-- Fred: “OMG! Angel, you’re... cute! Oh, the little hands... and the hair!!”
-- Everyone trying so hard not to crack a smile.
-- Puppet!Angel: “I do NOT have Puppet Cancer! Come on, guys, this is a serious situation. I‘m a puppet, and children’s lives are at... Hey, it’s SMILE TIME!” (And he scurries away to the TV)
-- Puppet!Angel: “Spike... Just turn around and walk away.”
-- Spike: “You’re a wee, little puppet man!!”
-- Puppet!Angel : “Yes! I’m a puppet. Doesn’t mean you don’t have work to do.”
-- Gunn: “You turned my boss into a freakin’ puppet!”
-- Puppet!Angel : “I’m made of felt... and my nose comes off!”
-- Puppet!Angel: “Nooo! No, Nina! Bad Nina! Ahhhh!!”
-- OMG, when Angel came around the corner holding his stuffing, I almost died!
-- Lorne: “Is there a Geppetto in the house?!”
-- Puppet!Angel: (sewing himself up after getting attacked by Nina) “Stupid fingers... Stupid string!”
-- Puppet!Angel clinging to Fred when she tells him they can fix him. (sniffles) “I love you guys.”
-- Puppet!Angel grabbing the sword and saying, “Let’s take down some puppets” before he and the gang march away in slow motion! ROTFL!!
-- Kicking some serious Evil!Puppet butt.
-- LOLOLOLOLOL! Wes got attacked by a big, purple squeaky thing!!
-- OMG, I wondered if Puppet!Angel would vamp, and he did!
-- Nina: (pulls stuffing from her mouth) “OMG... I ate him!”
-- What the heck is wrong with me?! I’m actually happy Wes and Fred got together, and I am the most anti-shipper of any fandom! Oh, well. It had me awwwwwwwwwwe-ing. But now, of course, Whedon is going to be evil and do something really bad to one or both of them. DARN YOU, WHEDON!
All in all, very funny and really bizarre. I really hope my best friend didn’t see this ep, ‘cause she’s scared to death of puppets. :D
